Sosyal refah için asgari ücret artmalıdır. Toplumda psikolojik ücret baskısı her geçen gün artarak devam etmekte olup, sosyal yaşam AB standartlarının çok gerisindedir.

Dövizdeki artış, enflasyondaki artış, satın alma gücündeki değişim dikkate alındığında asgari ücretin artması kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Ayrıca asgari ücret vergi dışı bırakılmalıdır. Asgari ücretten alınan vergi kamu gelirleri arasında işverenler ve şirketlerin çok üstünde bir orandadır.

Asgari ücret İnsan Hakları Evrensel Beyannamesi, Uluslararası Çalışma Örgütünün sözleşmeleri ve Avrupa Sosyal Şartı’na uygun biçimde işçinin ve ailesinin insanca yaşamasına yetecek şekilde belirlenmelidir.

TÜRK-İŞ Araştırmasının 2017 Kasım ayı sonucuna göre:

o    Dört kişilik bir ailenin sağlıklı, dengeli ve yeterli beslenebilmesi için yapması gereken aylık gıda harcaması tutarı (açlık sınırı) 1.567,45 TL,

o    Gıda harcaması ile birlikte giyim, konut (kira, elektrik, su, yakıt), ulaşım, eğitim, sağlık ve benzeri ihtiyaçlar için yapılması zorunlu diğer aylık harcamalarının toplam tutarı ise (yoksulluk sınırı) 5.105,71 TL oldu.

o    Bekar bir çalışanın aylık yaşama maliyeti ise 1.948,56 TL olarak gerçekleşti.

Bu nedenle asgari ücret bu tutarın çok çok altında kalmaktadır.

2015 yılı OECD verilerine göre asgari ücretin satın alma gücü açısından 26 OECD ülkesi içinde Türkiye 20. sırada yer almaktadır.

Türkiye satın alma gücüne göre bir değerlendirme yapıldığında ortalama olarak AB ülkeleri arasında 2 ile 2,5 kat daha düşük asgari ücrete sahiptir.

Türkiye’nin imza ettiği ILO ( Uluslararası Çalışma Örgütü) sözleşmelerine uygun mevzuata hız verilmelidir. Türkiye aynı zaman da imzalamadığı;

  • 172 Sayılı Turizm Çalışanlarının Çalışma Koşullarına,
